Methanol supply in Europe is still tight for the time being. The new owners ofthe former Methanor plant at Delfzijl are hoping to re-start one train in November although at reduced capacity. The fourth quarter contract price of Euro395/ton fob Rotterdam was eventually accepted by all parties.
